The farm
The two houses "Las Tourasses" and "Barané" lie in the middle of a 185 acres property. As is traditional to this region we practice mixed farming with a herd of “Limousine” suckler cows.
In the winter, the cows are kept in a big open stable. If you like you can visit them there… We feed them hay of our natural meadows together with some Lucerne and clover hay, fodder beets, pumpkins, apples, stinging nettles, linseed and bran. In the summer you can hear their bells as they graze peacefully.
Since 1984, year of our arrival here, we have been
working the farm according to the biological-dynamic
method. Precious cowpats, straw, chicken dung, eggshells
and basalt are transformed into compost with the help
of biodynamic preparations which we make ourselves.
Finely spread on the land, this compost stimulates the
fertility and the life forces of the earth.

The bees from our hives take part in the fertilisation of our crops and fruit trees.
All products are sold directly to the consumer. The meat, honey, jams, apple juice, vegetables and herbs can be found in our kitchen.
